29 years ago today this was my first show. I don't remember much but 330 shows later it obviously made an impression. I do remember still being high in high school the next morning. I had just seen my first Dead show earlier that summer and Phish was a completely different animal. The drummer in a dress playing a vacuum, trampolines, big ball jam, secret language, this band was fun. So glad I got to see them early before the fame. My friends and I bought Rift and were hooked. We graduated high school and went on the road.
